Why we built Citewise AI

Search used to end with a list of links you could track, rank for and measure. Increasingly it ends with a single answer from an AI assistant that names a handful of brands and moves on. Most companies have no idea whether they're in that answer.

Citewise AI asks the questions your customers ask, across the major AI engines, and turns the answers into metrics you can follow over time: mentions, position, citations and share of voice. Every number links back to the original answer, so you can always see the evidence.

What we believe

• Evidence over hype. We show raw answers alongside every metric and document exactly how each one is calculated.
• No promises we can't keep. Nobody controls what AI engines say. We measure; we don't sell placements.
• Fair, simple pricing. Free monthly credits, one-time packs, no subscriptions or lock-in.
• Your data is yours. We don't sell data, and you can export or delete everything at any time.

How we make money

Only from credits. Customers get 25 free credits every month and can buy one-time credit packs when they need more (see pricing). We don't run ads, sell data or take payment from AI companies or any brand to influence results. That independence is what makes the measurements trustworthy.

How the product works

Citewise AI sends your buyers' questions, unchanged, to each AI engine's official API with web search enabled, stores the full answers and analyses them with transparent rules. Our methodology documents every metric, and the features page shows what you get. We also publish practical guides on the Citewise AI blog and offer free tools anyone can use.
